It is with great regret that we have to announce that the Four Tet show to take place on 31/1/13 is to be rearranged for Thursday 21st February.

This is due to Four Tet perforating his ear drum, an incredibly painful injury. One consequence of this injury is that he cannot be in loud surroundings for a long period of time, and the 31st January was too soon for Kieran to risk himself, for fear of permanently damaging his hearing. Thus, we now look at the 21st February as that is the first available date that we could can look at. This is a terrible, but ultimately unavoidable, situation and we apologise to all that are affected by the move.

All tickets remain valid for the rearranged show, but if you require a refund you must contact us by next Wednesday (23/1/13) by emailing abandon-silence@hotmail.co.uk with your details so we can organise your refund. If you do not contact us by next Wednesday we will assume that you intend to attend on the new date.

There will still be 25 tickets on the door, though now there is the potential for refunded tickets to go back on sale. We will announce the details of those as and when we get them.

We have managed to hastily organise a replacement gig for the 31st January featuring one of ours, and Four Tet’s, favourite DJs, BEN UFO performing a 3 hour set – many thanks to Ben for stepping in. Ticket details of that gig will be announced later today.

We apologise wholeheartedly to anyone who now cannot attend the show as a result of this, but as we say it is unavoidable.
