Inmotion Podcast 01 – Cristi Cons

Born into a family of musicians, Cristi Cons first attached himself to the cello which he’s been playing since, eventually graduating towards electronic music where he’s been in full activation for the last 4-5 years.  With a chockfull of musical theory in his back pocket accompanied by a delicate ear, Cristi found his original influences in jazz, dub, experimental and classical music, leading towards production alongside his lifelong mate, Vlad Caia where they collaborate on building the SIT Project, a platform which gave them the chance to try new things.

His electronic influences were outlined by the likes of Rhadoo and other names originated from Cristi’s native Romania where his first release, Nutatia, was included on the [a:rpia:r] 05 – Jurnal de bord.  Since then he’s picked up appreciation from fellow dj’s such as Danny Tenaglia, Luciano, Dario Zenker and Steve Bug with his Cappascap EP, from All Inn Black and more.

Cristi continues to be an active member of the [a:rpia:r] label crew, constantly developing his mixing and producing skills towards an eclectic and clean manner.  ENJOY!
