This is the latest House release from Twin TM aka Melchior packing bass pounding punches with ASPECT MUSIC 5, 12″ Keeper of the Threshold.  The title track kicks off this EP with a fat synth bass line accompanied by a jumpy beat… this isn’t my favorite on the album but I can see with the right speakers this song making an impact for those who might disagree. Turning over the album with Let’s Get the Party On we do just that with this quasi two-step/dub-step/whatever-step house jam.  Soulful vocals weaving throughout that same sort of jumping beat reminiscent from SIDE A, it wasn’t until I reached The Fall of the House of Shadows did I fully appreciate this release. Simple, raw sounds that originated the skeletal structure of what house has become today. The keyboard melody is sweet, if I played this album, this would be the track for me, slowed down just a bit… Anyways… confession… I had no idea who TWIN TM was… it took me a second to break it down into Thomas Melchior- I love everything this guys produces, he’s one of my favorites.  I gotta keep up with all these aliases… Melchior Productions Ltd, Soul Capsule, Cinderfella ltd, M-Core and now Twin TM.
