Daniel Bell @ Bottom Floor_Los Angeles CA 04/21/12

Looking for a night to check out what’s going down in LA these days on the underground level of techno music- We stumbled upon Daniel Bell and John Tejada playing at an undisclosed location.  We signed up and when midnight rolled around, we were sent an email with the place to be and showed up.  Walking upstairs in a building somewhere in the middle of nowhere in downtown LA, we pay $10 bucks a piece and enter into John Tejada’s world.  The loft has a bathtub in the middle of the room asking us to not sit in it, we grab a beer and walk around.  The people barely dance and the ones that do are heavily doing so… just as heavy as John Tejada is playing records, the music is bella carica, hittin hard.  Daniel Bell arrives about an hour later and takes over the set and so begins minimal, Detroit, building from a slower space he feels it up with a bit of pyschodelic relics and starts to tear it up.  I danced and then we hit the door and left a good time had.
