Logo and Vinyl sleeve design for ‘CL1MAT – ICE’, signed by Pheek in collaboration with Edmund Mooney and Ben Hudginsthe, first release of Climat as a vinyl-exclusive imprint.
The design for the imprint was meant to be organic and seasonal, making use of textures created by acrylic ink’s in cotton canvas and a palette of seasonal colors. The logo represents the common symbol associated with seasons (the leaf). The typeface used is based on geometric shapes similar to rocks, hence the organic feel.
The idea is meant to be kept throughout the next releases of the imprint on all 4 seasons of the year, each sleeve and center label with a new painting by Max Binski, portuguese artist based in Lisbon, Pluie/Noir’s curator and creative director. He also does graphics inspired from geometric shape and mathematics, incorporating bright colors and painting.
