Saturday June 1st is the date for the second Lente Kabinet Festival – a carefully curated one-day extravaganza from Dekmantel that brings together art, culture and music. 2013 sees the festival move to a new venue, Het Twiske, which offers a little more space whilst keeping things nice and personal.

Representing a wide array of genres from a selection of the scene’s pioneers, new school heroes and old school veterans, Lente Kabinet is a spectacular for the true underground head, whether you like funk, soul, deeper stuff and more experimental house, techno and bass.

Musically this will be the most accomplished and prestigious event to date with headline DJ sets from Boston’s funk pair Soul Clap, eclectic IDM pioneer Four Tet, elegant New York techno man Levon Vincent, Panorama Bar favourites Steffi and Prosumer, pumping house boys Bicep, Non Plus boss Boddika, jazz-garage influencer Floating Points and Rinse.fm favourites Oneman vs Jackmaster, plus many more to be announced.

Four very special live sets will be also play out from veteran house and disco innovators Metro Area and dubstep originator Mala, who will be performing music from his recent trip to Cuba, plus young Canadian champ Jacques Greene and local house hero Tom Trago.

The cultural program this year is wholly curated by the Eddie The Eagle Museum which will present a “Best Of”, bringing together all the subversive elements of their Amsterdam Museum where they explore art, brands, collaborative projects, build bridges between societies and investigate many different disciplines.

Tickets are €34 plus service charges and will be available from January 30, with more names announced in the coming months.
