Oval Space Music continues it’s summer series of unique, niche and independent label showcases with the Toi.Toi.Musik family on Sunday June 2nd. Hosting a line-up from around the world; Canada’s The Mole , Uruguayan Nicolas Lutz, France’s Lamache and German Claus Voigtmann will take over the terrace all day long. Starting out as a warehouse party in London in 2010, Toi.Toi.Musik’s founders Claus Voigtmann and Isis Salvaterra have steadily grown a community of like-minded people whilst rotating guest residents Jan Krueger, Daze Maxim, Nicolas Lutz, Voigtmann and Lamache. Three years on and Toi.Toi. have added in-house bookings, a vinyl only label and continue their monthly parties.
The Mole
As The Mole, Canada’s Colin De La Plante has been creating bleepy, cheerful house and techno since the start of the last decade and now runs his own beautifully crafted Maybe Tomorrow Records. Having been a member of the Toi.Toi. family since the very early days we are delighted to have his finely tuned DJ skills headlining the terrace.
Nicolas Lutz
Resident at the very respected Club der Visionaere as well as Toi.Toi, this Uruguayan-born DJ has been surrounded by people such as Binh and Margaret Dygas since his early days. Nicolas’s style has developed somewhere between deep house and minimal techno and has become a fundamental element of Toi.Toi’s unique community.
Voigtmann
With sublime dedication to Djing and music production, Toi.Toi’s co-founder and resident Voigtmann has patiently acquired the respect of his peers in what is considered to be remarkable achievements in such short time. This goes not only for his Dj sets with Toi Toi, fabric, Rex Club, and Berlin venues such as Club Der Visionaere but also by developing his production skills.
Lamache
Thibaut Machet a.k.a. Lamache has steadily found his place as a member of Toi.Toi.Musik, not only as an artist but a true friend to the organisation. Having already played many dates in London- and even more set for the future – he sit’s alongside Voigtmann, Daze Maxim, Jan Krueger and Nicolas Lutz as a stand out artist and part of the Toi.Toi. furniture.
