Each time we see Joy Orbison we are simply mesmorised; consistent and strong, every single one of his sets follows this suit. After a notable stand out set at our Easter party, coupled with an incredible set at Hideout Festival this summer, it was an absolute no brainer to invite him back for another show this season at Canal Mills.

After attempting to come up with a witty “running like Klockwerk” pun we decided to put the pens down and just give you the facts instead. Ben Klock plays techno. He plays incredible techno in fact. The calibre of which our measly words cannot even begin to scope. Just be very ready to become educated as to the real meaning of this much overused word “techno”, and be totally wowed by the way he makes this raw sound so accessible to all who listen.

Words cannot express just how delighted we are to finally have Mr Ben UFO at our humble venue! An artist we have seen develop back from when he resided in Leeds, his incredible skills as turntablist are certainly well documented, but its the way he continues to pull out the most obscure records and keep the dancefloor moving that gets us. What a bro.

Room 2 is headed up by the lovely, lovely Gerd Janson. That’s right, big boss man at Running Back and a man who holds residencies at both Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson, it’s pretty obvious from the outset that this room is going to be total vibes from start to finish.

With all our buddys People Get Real, Matt Long and Butterside Up also joining us for the knees up, it’s certainly feels like a true family affair!
