Japanese artist Kai (aka Kaitaro Nakajima) was born in 1977 and is currently based in Tokyo. He started djing at the age of 17. He took his first step by spinning Hip Hop records, but later got into the world of minimal techno and house music around 2003. Since 2004 he is actively producing his own minimal tracks, and soon after his first release was issued of of sud electronic (portable, label )It created big opportunities for him and later on had a release off alphahouse (butane’s label) in America, and the german labels level rec and enliven music etc. In 2007 he has changed the base of operations to Berlin and has been performing live since. He has released two compilations from Japanese artist shingo suwa’s labels Merkur Schallplatten. and released from little helpers of butane and someone else’s label.
