Get chicagohouzed with Boo Williams at this coming Perlon night. Williams, together with DJs like Cajmere and Glenn Underground are the second wave of Chicago house protagonists who received the inheritance of Trax Records, DJ International and Dance Mania from the mid-90s, and it developed its own hyperactive Jack style. His countless plates on relief, residual or guidance are still prime examples how to generate with few elements maximum impact. After a long hiatus Williams published in two years, new tracks, which certainly does not have to hide behind the old – which in turn are also just reissued by labels like Chiwax. So time for a little lesson in love with one of the style-defining house luminaries of the past twenty years.
