On the Friday 22nd August 2014, Trouble Vision are proud to announce their annual Carnival Warm Up party at Corsica Studios. Over the years we’ve always tried to add a touch of soul, funk and afro to our Carnival lineup to kick off the August bank holiday weekend with a bank and this year is no different.

Topping the bill we’re proud to announce Funkineven will be making his Trouble Vision debut. The Apron boss has made serious waves over the last 12 months, starting his own label, collaborating with Delroy Edwards and Kyle Hall and generally making some pretty serious club music, so we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the headline slot.

In support the Chicago born, Sweden residing Amir Alexander will be taking to the decks. Having seen him do his thing at Corsica last Halloween for Just Jack’s Freak Boutique, he’s been on the Trouble Vision wish list for some time and we’re extremely excited that its now finally happening.

Last but not least, newcomer Al Dobson Jr. will be on warm up duties, kicking off the night with his unique brand of soul, RnB and beyond. Al’s recent release of Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section entitled Rye Lane Vol. 1, has been met by rave reviews, so we are eagerly waiting for more of the same on the 22nd.

And finally, our Trouble Vision residents Mr. Solid Gold and Park Ranger will be on hand to fill the gaps and make sure the party opens and closes in style, and with tickets starting at just £5 there isn’t a better place to kick off the bank holiday weekend.
